Artificial Intelligence is the ability of machines to seemingly think for themselves. AI is demonstrated when a task, formerly performed by a human and thought of as requiring the ability to learn, reason and solve problems, can now be done by a machine. A prime example is an autonomous vehicle. The vehicle is able to perceive its surroundings and make decisions in order to safely reach its destination with no human intervention.
There are complex real-world problems like speech recognition and machine translations that span across various practices of engineeering. Aim of artificial intelligence (AI) is to tackle these problems with rigorous mathematical tools. The objective of this course is to present an principles and practices of AI to address such complex real-world problems. The course is designed to develop a basic understanding of problem solving, knowledge representation, reasoning and learning methods of AI.
Artificial Intelligence is an approach to make a computer, a robot, or a product to think how smart human think. AI is a study of how human brain think, learn, decide and work, when it tries to solve problems. And finally this study outputs intelligent software systems.The aim of AI is to improve computer functions which are related to human knowledge, for example, reasoning, learning, and problem-solving.
